Ahmed Shayan Fazlur Rahman, known to his friends and family as SFR, is the Chairman of the Dhaka Dynamites T20 cricket franchise. Mr. Rahman represents the BEXIMCO Group, Bangladesh's largest conglomerate with an annual turnover of USD 1 billion. He graduated with distinction from American University in Washington, DC, and brings over 10 years of business experience to the BEXIMCO Board. He is instrumental in advising the board in current business strategies as well as future growth potentials. Mr. Rahman is the son of Mr. Salman F Rahman, Vice Chairman and founder of the BEXIMCO Group.
Involvement in Sports - Mr. Rahman is a counselor of Abahani Limited, the largest sporting club in Bangladesh. Being an avid sports fan and advocate of promoting various sports in the country, he has been instrumental in acquiring 100% ownership of the Dynamites in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Obeid R. Nizam (ORN) is the Chief Executive Officer of the Dhaka Dynamites. A career cricket administrator, he brings over 17 years of cricket managerial experience to the Dynamites. Mr. Nizam has been involved with various cricket clubs across all divisions of the sport in Bangladesh, and is currently an Advisor to the President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. As the CEO of the Dynamites, he manages day to day operations of the team and was instrumental in ensuring a smooth run operation over the last two seasons.
Khaled Mahmud (Sujan) is the Head Coach of the Dhaka Dynamites. Mr. Mahmud is a former Test Captain of Bangladesh. A medium-pace bowler and middle-order batsman, he played international cricket for Bangladesh from 1998 to 2006, captaining the team from 2003 to 2004.
Mr. Mahmud is also currently a Director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board and the Manager of the Bangladesh National Team.
Mehran is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the Dynamites. A career investment banker, he has been involved with the Dynamites setup for the last two seasons. Mehran looks after the team finances, marketing, corporate social responsibility and branding.
Charlie Austin is the Director of Recruitment and Player Management of the Dhaka Dynamites. With 20 years of sports business experience, Austin runs a leading sports management consultancy called Austin Management Limited and has managed several elite international cricketers for over 15 years. As Director of Recruitment, Austin is responsible for the identification and recruitment of international players as well as providing support services during the BPL.
Azam Iqbal is the Team Manager of the Dhaka Dynamites. He has joined the Dynamites setup for the 2017 season. He is an ex Bangladeshi cricketer, having played 35 first-class and 36 List A matches for Chittagong Division in domestic cricket. He represented Bangladesh in the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
Nasir Ahmed (Nasu) is a former Bangladesh wicketkeeper who played for the national team from 1988 to 1993. He is currently in charge of all data and statistical analytics for the Dhaka Dynamites.
